Privacy Policy

NudgeBell is a web-based reminder service operated as a sole proprietorship. We can be reached at hello@mail.nudgebell.app. By using NudgeBell you agree to this policy.

When you sign up and use NudgeBell we collect:

• Your name and email address (via Google login through Clerk)
• Your phone number (to deliver SMS, WhatsApp, and voice call reminders)
• Reminder content you create — titles, descriptions, scheduled dates and times
• Delivery logs — which notifications were sent, at what time, and whether they were acknowledged
• Payment information — processed entirely by Dodo Payments, we do not store card details
• Usage data — pages visited, actions taken, browser type, device type, IP address

We use your data only to:

• Deliver the reminders you schedule via your chosen channels
• Process your subscription and credit purchases
• Send you account-related emails (billing receipts, password resets, service updates)
• Improve the product based on usage patterns
• Respond to support requests

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to anyone. We do not send you marketing emails without your consent.

We share your data only with the third-party services required to run NudgeBell:

• Clerk — authentication and user account management
• Supabase — database and data storage
• Twilio — delivery of SMS, WhatsApp messages, and voice calls. Your phone number is passed to Twilio solely to deliver reminders you have scheduled.
• Resend — delivery of email reminders and account notifications
• Dodo Payments — payment processing. We pass your email and billing information to process transactions.
• Inngest — background job scheduling for reminder delivery
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure

All third-party providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We do not share your data with anyone beyond what is listed here.

Your phone number is used exclusively to deliver notifications you have personally scheduled. We never use it for marketing, we never share it with advertisers, and we never send any message you have not explicitly set up inside your NudgeBell account.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account your personal data is deleted immediately and permanently. Delivery logs are retained for 90 days for debugging purposes, then permanently deleted. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations.

We use essential cookies only — required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data
• Withdraw consent at any time

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication via Clerk, and access controls on our database. No system is 100% secure — if you believe your account has been compromised contact us immediately.

NudgeBell is not intended for anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of NudgeBell after changes constitutes acceptance.
